Pioneer of the washable rug, Phoenox Textiles, maker of the legendary Hug Rug brand, has launched its first range of Outdoor Mats, designed to provide eco-friendly protection and style for doorsteps, season after season.
Brand new for the seasons is this new range of Outdoor Mats, crafted from ECONYL® yarn. Washable and made from fully recycled nylon material, the innovative range of eco Outdoor Mats expertly combines style and function to protect your doorstep and elevate doorsteps from season to season.

Our reviewer, Denre Bruins, was delighted to try out Hug Rug’s new outdoor doormat offering, opting for a Tartan Paw washable outdoor mat (RRP £39.99). As it was an awful rainy day when he was looking at the mat and taking the pictures, Denre brought it inside for a photo session, where it was immediately given the seal of approval by Carson the Akbash Shepherd, who comes back with great big muddy paws every day of the week! With Hug Rug at the door a lot more of that mud will stay outside where it belongs.
For the indoor mat Denre tested Hug Rug’s Green Deer Washable doormat (RRP £48.99), which suited the traditional style of his home in rural Lancashire. Denre commented that the mat was a great size and weight, with a high-quality appearance and feel, whilst the deer were a lovely reminder of the herd that roams freely around his fields (when the dog is inside!). Both mats, which have a fantastic texture, perfect for lying on, are currently in the possession of Carson until further notice!
