Dr Susanne Lux, styling and plant trend expert at Pelargonium for Europe UK (PfE) shares her inspiring ideas for summer bouquets and creative craft projects, with practical tips on using geraniums as cut flowers.
Summer bouquets with a twist
Whether romantic, playful or modern, cut geraniums demonstrate their versatility perfectly when arranged in bouquets. As shown in the top image, a colourful bouquet of geraniums (Pelargonium), mixed with other summer flowers and delicate ornamental grasses, will brighten up your windowsill and bring a touch of summer to your home. You don’t have to worry about using up all the blooms on your living geranium, which will flower profusely for months on end throughout the summer and well into autumn.
