Acknowledging the demand for statement wall art, the Butterflies are designed, crafted and decorated in the heart of Staffordshire, these ornamental wall pieces are set to make a striking impression across both gifting and collectables markets.
Available in gift-boxed pairs (one large, one small), each butterfly is meticulously hand-painted by Poole’s studio artists using much-loved glaze combinations Poole Pottery’s iconic patterns: Horizon, Celestial, Maya and Ocean and each signed by the artist.

Poole Pottery designer, Gary Hawley, says: ‘The inspiration for the Poole butterfly’s is very simple, colour. I can’t think of a more beautiful but colourful insect than the butterfly. I have always been fascinated by insects and bugs and as Poole is synonymous with bright colour and amazing glazes simply pairing such a graceful shape with a fantastic palette of colours and effects seems appropriate.’
