Stationery from the States, by Kathy Krassner, Krassner Communications
Welcome to “Stationery from the States,” an exclusive new column for Gifts and Greetings Review. Each month, I’ll share with you a new, trendy product from the U.S. that has caught my eye. I’ve been covering the stationery industry as a trade-magazine editor for more than two decades, so I’m always impressed to see something new, fun and exciting!
My pick this month are the latest designs of “Pocket Notes” from Ohio-based Specialty Cards 4U. These adorable cards feature a ribbon-adorned, message-printed tag tucked inside a paper pocket that’s hand-embellished with dimensional attachments and little faux gemstones. New designs include a festive cupcake, a pastel-colored flower, a cute elephant holding a balloon, and pink and blue baby carriages. They measure 3.5 in. x 5 in., come with an A2-size white envelope, are packaged in a clear cello sleeve and made in the U.S.
