Brand Licensing is buzzing

Once again we enjoyed visiting Brand Licensing Europe, which this year takes place on October 16 – 18 at London’s Olympia, where over 280 brand owners have presented more than 2,200 of the latest brands, characters and images available for license.

Along with strong representation from major TV studios and some of the world’s biggest licensing agents, there was also a good smattering of art licensing companies and greetings publishers large and small seeking to license their images onto other product categories. Over 60 artists and designers displayed their work in this area.

New for this year was the Fashion Installation, where cutting edge fashion and accessories designers including Tatty Divine; Zandra Rhodes; People Tree; James Lakeland; Pineapple and Janet Reger are in search of licensing partnerships.

Individual reports on some of the cool brands we spotted will follow on, but for now here’s a pic of yours truly with none other than the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – what else!!
