London-based designer WOOP Studios has joined forces with wildlife charity WWF-UK to create a number of limited edition prints to raise awareness and funds for six endangered species, including: Tigers, pandas, polar bears, rhinoceroses, gorillas and dolphins.
WOOP’s speciality is collective nouns in print, meaning we can look forward to An Ambush of Tigers, An Embarrassement of Pandas, An Aurora of Polar Bears, A Crash of Rhinoceroses, A Whoop of Gorillas and A Pod of Dolphins.
Prices for each print will start at £109 and each sale will result in a generous loyalty donation for WWF-UK. The artwork is printed on Hahnemule archive fine art paper using the best pigment inks on 308gsm pure cotton, acid free paper to ensure a durability of 200 years. The print run is limited to 150 and all are signed and embossed.
Howard Wright, Head of Licensing for WWF-UK, said: “We are delighted to be working with Woop Studios on this licensing project. The endangered species captured in these stunning images are at threat and the royalties received through our working with Woop in this way will go towards our efforts for the ongoing protection of these beautiful animals, and our wider work around the world.”
