Nick Adsett reveals changes to the creative studio at The Great British Card Company, with Dave Capper and Simon Taylor-Kielty both receiving promotions
The Group Product Director for The Great British Card Company, Nick Adsett, has announced a number of changes to the company’s creative studio, which will be effective from December 1.
Dave Capper has been appointed Art Editor with specific responsibility for the Medici Cards brand. Comments Nick: “Dave has been with the company for 12 years and in that time has demonstrated a commitment to the business and a good understanding of our customer’s requirements.
“Medici Cards needs a new champion to head up product development and Dave’s previous experience of the brand makes him the ideal candidate for this role. He has already planned the new Christmas 2014 Medici Cards range and will now formally assume responsibility for the Everyday portfolio too, as we seek to leverage the Medici Cards brand”.
In addition, to recognise his fantastic achievement in effectively creating the Bebunni character brand artwork from scratch, in-house artist Simon Taylor-Kielty has been appointed to the position of Master Illustrator. Simon has over 20 years experience in the UK greetings card industry and his artwork on Bebunni has already produced nearly a million pounds worth of retail sales in the first year for GBCC.
“This is an unbelievable achievement,” says Nick, “and everyone here is incredibly proud of Simon and his wonderful artwork for Bebunni. All at GBCC join me in saying congratulations to both Dave and Simon.”
