Crucial show sector will form the biggest greetings showcase you can find under one roof anywhere in the world
The Greetings & Gift showcase at Spring Fair, an i2i Events Group exhibition, will be held in Hall 4 for the 2015 edition of the show, due to take place from February 1 – 5 at The NEC, Birmingham.
At the time of going to press this part of the exhibition had seen growth of 6 per cent compared with the same time last year, with 68 new and companies signed up to join this crucial sector*. This growth includes a 50 per cent rise in the number of international publishers joining the show.
The truly international stature of Spring Fair as the UK’s premier launch platform for companies seeking export business will be reinforced by the presence of UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) in Hall 4. At the heart of Greetings & Gift at Spring Fair are some of the biggest names in the UK’s world-leading greetings, gift and related industries, including:
Really Good, Soul, Santoro, The Great British Card Company, Nigel Quiney Publications, Woodmansterne Publications (image right), Paper Rose, Talking Tables, Danilo, Penny Kennedy, Eurowrap and Mint.
Together they help make Greetings & Gift at Spring Fair the largest presentation of greetings, stationery and giftwrap you can see under one roof anywhere in the world. The show also offers amazing cross-over buying opportunities across 14 different product categories, including unrivalled selections of contemporary and general gifts.
The owner of award-winning Really Good and Soul, David Hicks, commented: “I can’t wait for the Spring Fair. Seriously! As a company we’ll have our biggest ever gift release, and we’re saving it all for that show. And there’s our redesigned stand too, and new greetings card ranges. I can’t wait to see old friends from England and abroad, and I can’t wait to present everything that we’ve worked so hard to put together. Bring it on.”
Hannah Dale, founder of another award-winning card publisher Wrendale Designs was also looking forward to the show, saying: “Spring Fair is by far the most important trade show of the year for us. The vast majority of our customers visit the show, and it is a great opportunity to catch up with them as well as meet new customers. We find the footfall to be the highest of all the shows, and we always meet a diverse range of buyers, from independents to multiples as well as overseas distributors. We always plan our major product launches to coincide with the show, and this year is no exception – we are launching new greetings cards, new tinware and a range of new stationery products including some beautiful gift pens. We will have our biggest stand ever at Spring Fair 2015, so we are very much looking forward to the show!”
Visitors should also take some time to visit the trade launch of RetroCo (image left), borne out of the hugely successful CD Card Company at Spring Fair, that promises a wealth of exciting new product launches.
The Cardgains Village will once again be a central feature of Hall 4 where it will host dozens of well-known brands, and friendly Cardgains staff will welcome their member retailers from all around the British Isles.
Refreshments will be available at the Greetings & Gift Café, located centrally in Hall 4.
