Jo Malone MBE to speak at Autumn Fair

Jo MaloneJo Malone MBE will lead the line-up of inspirational speakers at this year’s Autumn Fair with a key note delivery on Monday 5 September at The NEC, Birmingham.

Described as an ‘English scent maverick’ and the woman responsible for creating some of the world’s most-loved fragrances, Jo originally discovered an instinctual talent for creating scented products by hand in her kitchen. Her first brand, Jo Malone London launched in 1995 and quickly gained cult status around the world. Jo sold the business to Estée Lauder Companies in 1999 and remained Creative Director until she left in 2006.

In 2008, Jo was honoured with an MBE for her services to the beauty industry. Her passion for fragrance never ceased and in 2011, after much anticipation, Jo launched her new fragrance brand JO LOVES bottling her undeniable desire to create beautiful and unexpected fragrances, pioneering new products and entertaining experiences.

Jo’s session at Autumn Fair will be highly aspirational for brands and retailers alike, adding to the wider seminar programme across the four days of the show.

Also confirmed to take to the stage, winner of BBC series The Great Interior Design Challenge 2015, Martin Holland whose TV success took him from amateur interior designer to business owner. His delivery will advise retailers on how to achieve the right interior for their stores in ten easy steps.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to Meet The Experts one-on-one through a series retail clinics with industry experts to discuss the detail of any retail challenges they have had to face in their own businesses.
