Bonnetts Garden Village closes amidst ongoing Covid crisis

Gardening Express owned Bonnetts Garden Village has announced that “with a heavy heart” it is closing up its business as the coronavirus crisis in the UK deepens.

In a statement made on January 1 via Facebook, the Brentwood-based garden centre said:

Due to the ongoing Coronavirus Crisis we have with a heavy heart taken the tough decision to close from the 1st January until further notice for the protection of both our dedicated staff and loyal customers. We would love to keep serving the community, but with things as they are, we’d rather make sure that we are doing our bit now to help prevent the spread of the virus and save lives.

After opening in 2017, Bonnetts Garden Village has grown to become very well known in Brentwood and the local areas as a well-stocked, bright, welcoming garden centre for the whole family.

Gardening Express was established in the late 1990’s by Chris Bonnett, whilst still a teenager, after he decided it would be a fantastic idea to combine his passion of the great outdoors and plants with the Internet.
