New gift box business, Golden Year Gifts, has announced its UK launch. The company, which originates from the beautiful Cotswolds and is now based in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, prides itself on being specifically for people in later life and aims to help people stay connected while offering products designed for an older market.
Founder, Charlie Gauld, says he’s proud to introduce a new company designed specifically to help people keep in touch with family members and loved ones:
“Since leaving for university and subsequently working far from home, it was always hard to regularly spend quality time with my elderly family. I realised this was a common issue for lots of people that live away from family members, which was where the idea for Golden Year Gifts came from. I want to give people an easy way to let their loved ones know that they’re thinking of them while also offering a nice monthly or one-off gift that they would enjoy.”
Golden Year Gifts currently offers activity and craft gift boxes and plans to introduce food and drink hampers in the coming weeks, all designed with elderly family and friends in mind. Gift boxes already launched include:
Puzzle Book Box – Which includes handmade puzzle books, sweet treats and personalised messages and photo’s
The Stitcher – A cross stitch focused gift box with a whole host of added goodies inside.
The company is currently selling their products on their own website and on a dedicated Etsy store, and also have weekly give-aways and competitions on their social channels.
