The organising team at Glee is celebrating having just been awarded the Best UK Trade Show (+ 8,000sq ft) Award at the recent glittering Association of Exhibition Awards.
Taking place on 16th June at Grosvenor House in central London, the awards celebrated the best that the events industry has to offer. Having been shortlisted in previous years, Glee’s time finally came with the annual garden retail exhibition scooping the DB Schenker-sponsored award. In a fiercely-fought category, Glee was up against the likes of The London Vet Show, The Health & Safety Event, Housing 2022, and Advanced Engineering to be crowned this year’s winner.
The award follows a period of change for the show, with its first-ever June slot further cementing its worth. Following a challenging period where in-person events were put on the back burner, Glee came back bigger and stronger, proving that a change can reinvigorate a show and offer its stakeholders more value than ever.
Talking about the award, Glee’s Event Director said: “There are a lot of people that have made this award possible, including the in-house team, our partners but perhaps most of all, our exhibitors. We are beyond proud of the journey Glee has undertaken in the past few years and so grateful for the support that our industry has shown us. This is award is for all of you. Thank you!”
