As we reach the height of summer, preparations for one of the most exciting European exhibitions in the trade show calendar are well underway, as we look forward to showUP, the premier event for the Benelux region and a hotbed of design-led innovation and sustainable product solutions.
The show will run from 3rd – 4th September 2023 at the Brabanthallen in the beautiful city of Den Bosch, The Netherlands. Not only will visitors see the best of Dutch and Scandinavian design on display, but will also have the opportunity to catch up with market leading British suppliers who were quick to cotton on to the benefits of this excellent trading environment.
The Netherlands is renowned for having a buoyant and positive trading environment and – with people now finally figuring out post Brexit rules – importing to and from one of our closest European neighbours is starting to become less complicated. This brings great opportunities for buyers to discover not-seen-before home and gift products to bring to the British high-street and create standout merchandise displays to tempt shoppers.
The autumn/winter ’23 edition features an exceptional mix of exhibitors, ranging from small startUPs and young designers to beautiful established brands with gifts, stationery and home deco from all over Europe. The quality of exhibitors is high, the atmosphere vibrant, welcoming and exciting. Visitors can expect to see newness in spades, alongside state-of-the-art product innovations and a strong sustainable ethos.
To make this edition even more exciting, the showUP event organiser is introducing a brand new section called gearUP, where you can find great gifts and tools for men – the difficult to buy for half of the human race! More lovely newness can be found in the inspirational UPcoming section, where you can meet great emerging brands, talented young designers and eclectic inventors that you won’t have seen at any other trade show.
If trend spotting is your goal, Jan Agelink will be on hand to guide visitors through the trends of the coming season in the listenUP seminar theatre.
Maybe it’s in the name, but a rapidly expanding section of the show is growUP, where you see a fabulous selection of the best kid’s brands, where everything from gorgeous, eco-friendly plush, rattles and reading books can be found alongside baby care and deco products, puzzles, games and apparel.
The nearest airport to Den Bosch is Eindhoven airport from where it’s a short train journey, with direct flights operated by Ryan Air from Edinburgh, London Stansted and Manchester. Single fairs starting at just £25. Most likely cheaper than your train ticket.
