The current semi-precious jewellery collection from established jewellery designer Katherine Bree takes inspiration from the classical elements. Earth, Fire, Water and Air.
Throughout time, the elements have been linked to the Seasons, the zodiac and particular semi-precious stones. Katherine has collated this narrative into four collections each with its own distinctive colourway. The Elemental collection comprises semi-precious beaded necklaces, bracelets and earrings with Sterling Silver and Gold Vermeil clasps and ear wires. Recommended retail prices are from £36 – £250 and include branded packaging.
The Earth element is the element of stability and the body, wisdom, knowledge, strength, and growth. It is associated with Winter and the zodiac signs Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn. It combines the greens of Peridot, Malachite and Serpentine with Tigers-eye, Smoky Quartz, Rhodonite and black Onyx.
Fire represents passion, creativity, motivation & transformation. It is linked to Summer and Leo, Sagittarius and Aries. The collection includes orange Carnelian, golden Rutilated Quartz, black Spinel, grey Jasper, Pyrite and Turquoise.
Water is the element of emotions, intuition, purification, and the subconscious. It is associated with Autumn and the zodiac signs Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio. The gemstones in this colourway combine the blues of Lapis Lazuli, Amazonite and Turquoise with Rock Crystal, Pearl and Labradorite.
Air represents the intellect, imagination & inspiration, ideas, knowledge, dreams & wishes. It is linked to the Spring and the zodiac signs Aquarius, Gemini and Libra. The stones in this colourway are blue, purple and yellow and include Amethyst, Citrine, Apatite, Angelite, Aventurine and Blue Lace Agate.
Pieces are made to order so special requests can be accommodated. Lead times are between 2 and 8 weeks. If orders are placed during Curated Craft (16th – 24th June) delivery will be free of charge.
