Countdown to Home & Gift Harrogate

cavalinniPreparations are now well underway to ensure that Home & Gift continues to be an essential trade exhibition for retailers looking to prepare for their most profitable Christmas yet.

Due to take place from 14-17 July, Home & Gift Harrogate is the seasonal round-up of design-led and everyday gifts, homewares, jewellery & fashion accessories, greetings & stationery. Each year, the show welcomes over 13,000 visitors benefiting from the opportunity to visit over 1000 exhibitors in a stunning historic location.

Exhibitors include Enesco, Bronte Tweeds, Widdop Bingham, LEUCHTTURM 1917, Walton & Co, Joe Davies, Emma Ball, Half Moon Bay, Lesser & Pavey, Portmeirion, Wild & Wolf, Nkuku, Big Metal, Jellycat, Transomnia, Caroline Gardner, Really Good, Yankee Candle, RJB Stone, JJ Vaillant, Crabtree & Evelyn, Alice Hannah, Tutti & Co, Cinderela B, Retreat Home, Xystos, Jane Means, Voyage Decoration (image below right) and hundreds more.

Brand new exhibitors at this year’s event will include Kaemingk, PD Global, CIMC Home, JJ Textiles, SENCE Copenhagen, Lichfield Leather, Linen House UK, L&S Interiors and many more.

Despite tough market conditions at present, visitors to the show will benefit from the opportunity to transform their store offering and give their store a unique point of difference by discovering innovative product launches and trusted best-sellers from the diverse selection of exhibitors. Over 50% of exhibitors are exclusive to Home & Gift, and cannot be found at any other show, including Alessi, Lisbeth Dahl, Max Benjamin, Cavallini (image top left), Gisela Graham and Heaven Sends.

voyageThe footprint of the show will look different this year with the addition of a new hall (Hall G in the Harrogate International Centre) where Spotlight will be launched. Spotlight brings together never-seen-before, original and quality gifts that will give stores a point of difference on the high street this Christmas.

Greetings and Stationery suppliers will continue to be hosted in Hall H, including the likes of Select Cards, Blue Eyed Sun, Holy Mackerel, Glick, Chase me Charlie, Wrendale Designs, KTWO, Mint, Courgette Cards and Forever Handmade Cards.

Newly appointed show director, Cleere Scamell, comments: “Following a very successful edition last year, Home & Gift 2013 will present visitors with the widest range of collections and product launches ever seen at the show. We have been working hard to introduce new areas such as Spotlight, featuring up-and-coming designers, plus the greetings and stationery hall, now in its second year, which will continue to offer retailers unique cards and small gifts to help encourage increased customer spend. I am very much looking forward to my first show in this new role, and to ensuring that retailers really do get the most from their visit to Home & Gift in July.”
