See new Alice Atwell ranges at Top Drawer

alice atwellCasting Director and Teacher turned Designer, Alice Atwell, will launch three brand new ranges of cards and a trade-only website at Top Drawer Spring

After a decade working in theatre and teaching, designer Katherine Alice Lawson turned her back on the casting couch and the blackboard and, with her first three ranges of cards and accompanying stationery, launches Alice Atwell

She’d auditioned Will Young and read with Pete Postlethwaite; she’d done assault courses with Year 8 and meditated with Year 7 but, in the end, Katherine bade farewell to the classroom, packed her bags and installed herself in a very English cottage right on the river. Surrounded by water meadows and with her beloved Salisbury Cathedral spire beyond, she spent the summer painting.

From this quintessentially English setting Katherine created three fresh and very different ranges of cards. Alongside the quirky and characterful Peeps are The Number Chums and Watercolour, with all designs are hand drawn and painted by Katherine.
