The organiser of Top Drawer, Clarion Events, has revealed the finalists of the A/W 2-18 PaperAwards, supported by G.F Smith. Five finalists have been selected in each of the three categories and retailers are now asked to vote for their favourites.
Exciting Use of Colour finalists: Rhombus & Pineapple, The Completist, Scout Editions, Emily Brooks and Lorna Syson.
Engaging Print finalists: Wanderlust Paper Co., 1973 Ltd, UWP Luxe, MishMish and Studio Wald.
Emotive Design finalists: Small World, Pressed and Folded, Petra Boase, Stormy Knight and Katie Leamon
The judging panel included Hazel Walker from Paperchase, Emma Hawkins from Fortnum & Mason, Carly Pearson from Sainsburys, Holly Tucker, Co-Founder of notonthehighstreet.com and Holly & Co, Cara Wyatt at Selfridges, Lucy Edmonds, Founder of Quill London, Audrey Woollen from Urbanic, Neal Whittington of Present & Correct, David Hicks of Really Good and Janet Stevens and Mark Jessett, Paper Consultants for G.F Smith, reported on the high-quality of entries.
Top Drawer Event Director, Alejandra Campos says; “The PaperAwards were created to celebrate creativity, design and innovation within the Greetings & Stationery industry, and this season’s submissions certainly delivered on all three. The quality of entries has been exceptional.”
All finalists will have their work featured at the heart of the Greetings & Stationery area. Each winner will receive a prize worth £1000. The winners will be announced on September 4.
