The new programme will bring together trusted voices from across the industry to strengthen collaborate and represent the Home and Gift Industry.
The Giftware Association (The GA) has today announced the launch of its new Home & Gift Industry Champions initiative, a forward-looking programme designed to bring together a select group of respected and engaged members to help shape the future of the UK’s home and giftware industry.
As the Home & Gift sector navigates economic pressures and an increasingly competitive marketplace, the importance of collaboration and shared insight has never been greater for our industry.
The Home & Gift Industry Champions initiative has been created to address this need bringing together individuals whose experience, perspective and integrity can help inform meaningful decisions and strengthen the industry from within. The carefully selected group will ensure that the real-world challenges and opportunities facing businesses are clearly understood and reflected in the conversations and initiatives that shape the sector.
The Industry Champions are not just figureheads. They will become trusted individuals who play a meaningful role in moving our industry forward through informed insight and advocacy. Champions will:
Bring the voice of members directly into the heart of Association discussions
Help shape key priorities, initiatives and industry thinking
Share insight on trends, challenges, and opportunities from across the sector
Support and mentor peers, contributing to a more connected and collaborative community
Beyond the individuals involved, the initiative is designed to deliver broader value to the entire Home & Gift community. By harnessing collective expertise, the programme will help:
Strengthen industry representation at a strategic level
Ensure GA initiatives are aligned with real member needs
Foster greater collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the sector
Build confidence and clarity during a period of ongoing change
Insights gathered through the Champions via quarterly forums and ongoing engagement will help shape Associations priorities and support the long-term growth and resilience of the industry. This opportunity is deliberately limited, ensuring a high-quality, engaged group that reflects a diverse cross-section of the industry, including retailers, brands, SMEs, regions, and service providers.
The GA is seeking individuals who:
Are deeply committed to the success of the Home & Gift industry
Are respected by their peers and well-connected within their sector
Bring valuable insight, experience, and perspective
Are motivated to play an active role in shaping the future of the industry
Importantly, the initiative is not defined by business size or profile, but by credibility, engagement, and willingness to contribute.
