National Stationery Day set for April 24

The orgaiser of the Stationery Show has launched the first National Stationery Day, due to take place on Tuesday April 24 2012, as part of a wider campaign to promote stationery to consumers and the media.

Planned PR activities will include a wide programme of social media, radio and printed press coverage, plus the appointment of a team of stationery ‘ambassadors’ from within and beyond the trade. Celebrities with a known love of stationery will also be invited to show their support.

National Stationery Day coincides with the opening of the Stationery Show, which takes place at the Business Design Centre in London Islington from Tuesday 24 – Wednesday 25 April 2012. More than 100 stationery suppliers are set to participate. The theme for the 2012 exhibition – “Fashion meets Function” – says it all and reflects stationery’s growing popularity and new lifestyle status.
