A Cracker of a Card!

In 1840, Tom Smith invented the Christmas cracker; in 2011 My Design Company invented Cracker Cards and will be exhibiting exclusively at Spring Fair 2012, visit Hall 4 Stand F78.

A lot of us spend the Christmas period away from family members who have either moved abroad or started families of their own. Knowing that they will be absent from the festive celebrations and unable to revel in the nostalgia that being at home can bring, Cracker Cards have been engineered to hold a voucher, ticket, photo or any other 2D gift if desired. It can be expensive sending presents abroad, but it can also be difficult packaging larger items and you can never be 100% certain they’ll arrive safely, on time. With the Cracker Card, you can simply write your message, add a gift if you wish, then pop the Cracker Card in a regular sized DL envelope and send. This makes for a very thoughtful yet economical card and gift in one.

Each card contains a traditional cracker snap and creates a bang when pulled. Included inside is a joke and a paper hat in order to simulate the experience of opening a Cracker on Christmas Day. This innovative format bridges the gap between a traditional greetings card and a gift, and makes sending and receiving a card more engaging. With the ease of printing them online, vouchers and tickets make great presents and offer ultimate convenience for the person purchasing them.

Cracker Cards come as singular products, packs and box sets. Also available are Cracker Cards in a miniature format for use as gift tags or tree decorations. A bespoke design service will be offered for specific requirements such as retail exclusives and corporate events.
