Cycling 450km through Vietnam & Cambodia in just 6 days. Karen Lincoln from Forma House has taken up this epic challenge, aiming to raise over £3000, supporting the Women V Cancer charities.
Karen herself was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2013 and feels this is a way of giving something back to everyone who has helped her battle in overcoming her illness.
Karen has had a lot of support in her efforts raising the money, including that of Forma, her employer for the past seven years.
The management team donated a mix of product samples and seconds for a bumper two day sale hosted at the company’s headquarters in Mitcham. The turnout was overwhelming and Karen manged to raise £420 towards her charity mission, which has three incredible charities involved – Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action
Karen: “I am totally overwhelmed by all the support everybody has given me, we even had a local resident pop by with a box of cupcakes she had baked to help keep us all going! I was so moved by this gesture from a complete stranger and just goes to show how kind people can be and how much we all come together to fight against Cancer.”
