Global Innovation for Product Design winners

Thirteen companies scooped IHA Global Innovation Awards for Product Design held during the 2019 International Home and Housewares Show at McCormick Place in Chicago. These include:

Bath and Personal Care category: Easy Reach, LLC, Easy Reach
Cleaning category: Fusionbrands LLC, BendItBrush
Cook and Bakeware category: IPAC S.P.A., Panboo – 8” Casserole
Home Décor and Gifts category: Sagaform, Inc., Hold Adjustable Vase (pictured)
Home Organization and Storage category: Stasher, Stand-Up Stasher
Household and Home Electrics category: Gingko Electronics Ltd., Octagon One Desk Light (pictured)
Kitchen Electrics category: Galanz Americas Limited Company, ToastWave 4-in-1Convection Oven and Air Fry and Toast and Microwave
Kitchen Hand Tools and Cutlery category: Dreamfarm, Ortwo – Grind One-Handed or Two
Kitchenware category: Mastrad, Inc., m°control
Personal Care category: IQAir North America, Inc., Atem Personal Air Purifier (4 in 1)
Pet Products category: IRIS USA Inc., Top Entry Cat Litter Box (PUNT-530) Smart Home category: ETEKCITY, Levoit Willow True HEPA Air Purifier
Tabletop category: Magisso North America, Visibility Bottle (pictured)

IHA president, Derek Miller, said: “Congratulations to these winners of the IHA Global Innovation Awards for product design; they are excellent representatives of the cutting-edge innovation and creativity that is driving the housewares industry today,” said Derek Miller, IHA president. “Our world-renowned gia program is the ultimate awards event in the industry, honoring excellence in both housewares retail and product design.”

Nearly 500 products were entered in the competition, which also named five Global Honorees for Retail Excellence: Jumbled in Australia, Bahne in Denmark, S-KULTUR in Germany, Futako Tamagawa TSUTAYA ELECTRICS in Japan and Porland in Turkey (pictured).

The Global Honorees were selected from the 30 national GIA winners by an international panel of judges that included visual merchandising experts and trade magazine editiors/publishers. The UK winner was Potters Cookshop.

The Martin M Pegler Award for Excellence in Visual Merchandising was awarded to La Cuisine of the Netherlands and the Digital Commerce Award for Excellence in Online Retailing went to 9design of Poland.
